My passion for shaping the future of automotive education led me to craft the first-ever MET qualification for The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), a milestone that standardized technical proficiency across the field. I’ve also delivered specialized Ford Master Technician training modules in collaboration with Thatcham Repair and Research, equipping professionals with the skills to master evolving automotive technologies.
My journey began at age 14, working evenings and weekends in my father’s Bodyshop - a foundation that instilled in me a hands-on understanding of craftsmanship, repair techniques, and the value of lifelong learning. Today, at 57, I continue to collaborate with industry leaders and academic bodies to ensure technical qualifications and training programs not only meet but anticipate the demands of rapid technological change.
